The Triconex MP3101 is a triple-modular-redundant processor digital input module designed for safety-critical applications, providing continuous full diagnostics for each channel. It ensures high performance and reliability in industrial automation systems.

Any diagnostic fault on any channel activates the module's fault indicator, triggering a chassis alarm signal. The module fault indicator signifies a channel failure, not a failure of the module itself. The module guarantees normal operation in the presence of a single fault and may continue functioning normally under certain types of multiple faults.
